Meet The Bees
Book a 90-minute beehive tour for up to 4 adults and 6 children!
Join us at our education station to find out what all the buzz is about!
Located near 2854 & 336 in Montgomery, Texas 77304
We can accommodate all ages, solo learners and group experiences, beginners to experts! (Recommended ages 8+)
What to Expect
Tours are approximately 1 hour in length
Tours begin with a short educational session before suiting up to learn & discuss what we will be doing and looking for inside the hives as well as procedures, need-to-knows, Q&A’s, and tips for the experience.
We will suit up and compare different hives, witness different happenings of the hive, and perform hive work guided by one of our knowledgeable beekeepers.
Each experience visiting the bees is unique and special; as are we as individuals! Thus, we cater to your comfort level for your personal experience with the bees!
What to Bring
Baseball cap or bandana to keep your hair out of your face when you cannot adjust once suited up.
Boots ie cowboy boots, hiking boots, rain boots. If you don't have boots that cover your ankles then wearing hightop sneakers or long socks with your shoes is okay. Just as long as your ankles are covered.
A long sleeved shirt and long pants - preferably slightly baggy. This is for protection from the sun and mosquitos before we get suited; you will get hot and sweaty so bringing a change of clothes or a towel for the car ride home is a good idea!
Please do not wear any perfumes, colognes, essential oils, or any other strongly scented deodorants to tour the apiary. The bees are very sensitive to these things and it may cause agitation.
PLENTY OF DRINKING WATER FOR YOURSELF AND EVERYONE IN YOUR GROUP!
