Purchase a Nuc
Whether you're just at the bee’ginning of your beekeeping journey or a seasoned beekeeper looking to grow your apiary, purchasing a nuc is a great way to start or expand a hive. A nuc—short for nucleus colony—is a small, established colony that typically includes 3 to 5 frames of bees, a laying queen, brood, and food stores. It gives your hive a healthy head start compared to starting from scratch.
